Another reminder for us to all prepare made its self clear to residence of the Midwest, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake woke people up Friday morning just before dawn. After shocks followed, including one with a magnitude of 4.6.



The quake according to the U.S. Geological Survey is said to be apart of the New Madrid fault, this fault is at the center of the nations most active seismic zones east of the Rockies. A major quake along the New Madrid fault zone could destroy buildings, bridges, roads and other infastructure and also play havoc on communication.
