| Prepare for disasters and emergencies with survival kits, supplies and the knowledge to survive. | |||||
Entry for March 23, 2008 ![]() Again this week sevre weather caused loss of life and property, as flooding in several midwest states caused unspeakable devestation. Again and again I find myself overwhelmed by the number of storms that are happening, and not just in the United States but everywhere. Many of our customers in Eastern Canada a couple weeks back had their deliveries delayed because of sever weather. Preparedness is the so important having the supplies to make it through a tough situation. Make sure your survival kits are ready in case you need them and make sure you keep up on water, remember it is suggested to have at least 1 gallon of water per person per day. My advice that we use is a constant use and replenish of water, we purchase a supply each week as we use it so we have constant fresh supply. It works for us, try it and see if it does for you too. Remember water is more important than food.
One last thing before I go, we added some two new kits located in our survival kit section. The first is a 1 person disaster survival kit taht includes a NOAA alert radio and a TV, we call it our tornado survival kit. Our second is a very basic but very affordable survival kit, add any supplies you want to it and be prepared. Until next time be safe and get better prepared each day! 2008-03-24 07:21:00 GMT
